Switching Made Easy
It’s easy to get your automatic payments & direct deposits at America First. Once you make the switch, you’ll have complete access to benefits such as free online & mobile banking, bill pay, and so much more.
Moving your payroll deposits & bills (insurance, phone bill, utilities) takes less than 10 minutes. We’ll even communicate with your old financial institution and inform them you’d like to close your accounts.
How it Works
Gather your existing automatic payment, direct deposit and account information. Then, visit a local branch, contact us via online banking, or call 1-800-999-3961. Our helpful team will talk you through it. We’ll then contact your employer and account billers as needed.
Ensuring a Smooth Transition
Check account status when you log in to our portal from the welcome email or by using your one-time code here.
We offer some tools to guide you:
- Summary – shows progress & details of requested switches.
- Status – tracks & confirms accounts coming to America First.
- Balance assist – tells you how much to keep in your old accounts until America First changes are finalized. We generally advise making funds available in previous accounts for 30 days to cover checks & payments.
