Be assured that neither America First nor any other reputable financial institution will ask you for your PIN, Social Security number, or account numbers using these methods.

Fraud and Phishing FAQs

Activate multi-factor authentication in online banking. Never share your passwords or login information. Don’t send money to anyone you’ve only corresponded with over the phone, email, or messaging. Avoid wire transfers, when possible.

Card Guard®, a service in our free mobile banking app, allows you to turn credit cards on and off and set limits based on amount, proximity, vendor, or geographical location.

You can also set up electronic alerts to warn you of any suspicious activity. 

Call us immediately at 1-800-999-3961. Report the incident to the police. Lastly, submit a report to the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center at www.IC3.gov.

Yes. If you suspect you’ve been the victim of identity theft, we’ll assign a dedicated Privacy Advocate to help resolve it. They’ll work on your behalf and report progress until the issue is resolved.

If you have America First mobile banking installed on your Apple or Android device, use Card Guard to disable your card. If you haven’t activated this feature, call us immediately at 1-800-999-3961, and we’ll deactivate your card for you. We can send you a new Visa® immediately—just allow shipping time.
